I often have the need to futher refine a highlight, e.g. by making it shorter or highlighting most the important part with a marker pen formatting. Is this something you'd be considering? I figure the current immutability has its good reasons (it could be annoying if a public cards was changed completely in it meaning), but maybe theres something in between (e.g. allow edits but show a revision history, or always show other users the version they saved first.. ooof I can see the feature creep) (Example screenshot from Heptabase).

I would love to use this in dark mode.

I read lots of newsletter and I often want to send things to sublime from my email client (Gmail, but it could be something else). For now it is really painful. What I can do is copy a piece of text and send it to sublime, but I lose the context / source, so if there is a link to the email (with substack for example) I got back to Sublime, edit the card and add source. But if there is no link to read the email outside the mailbox, and have no solution. So, I add the following idea : why not forward the email to a sublime email adress, that whould add the content to sublime ? and keep a track of the original email somewhere.

Kind of like a fortune cookie daily, it would be awesome to be notified via email with one card that I've added so I can have daily learning without effort.

Generate a short insight for each card with AI

I would like to be able to add highlights to existing or new article cards (on mobile). I realize on desktop you can add a new article with highlights through the browser extension, but on mobile there’s not a way yet. Also, let’s say I have an existing article card that wasn’t added through the browser extension—I don’t think there’s a way to add highlights to it on any device.

I am just organizing some cards that are my highlights imported from Readwise, and every time I add a card to a collection, the order of the cards change (I clicked on a book, and I am looking at all its highlights). I don't want the cards to shift unless I re-sort or shuffle them explicitly
