Adjust CSS of text in Edit Text box

The styling of the text in the Edit Text box, where we add new content to cards, feels a bit cramped to me.
The line-height doesn't seem to be in the right proportion to the font size, and there's little padding around the text inside the box.
It makes the overall feeling when posting in text for a card to be cramped.
I made some adjustments to it in my browser, including changing the font to PT Serif, which I think helps make a better reading experience for people reading cards. I'll attache before and after images on this feedback post so the difference is clear.
I realize CSS styling is sometimes a personal preference, but I'm trying to show an opinion of what could make for a better reading experience.

P.S. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like the only way to get the meta data that appears below a section of highlighted text in a card, (such as the link to the source and when it was created and who created the card) is by using the browser plugin.
But I have a lot of notes in other apps, or on paper, that I'd like to upload into Sublime.
When I manually create a card, I don't have a way to get that metadata to appear. In particular, I can't create a nice, neat, clean link to the source article/book/video/podcast where I captured the note from.
If there was a simple text editor tool bar, I could manually create a clean link to source content.
