Hey Sam Spencer – sorry about that!
You can edit browser extension keyboard shortcuts. Here's how to do it for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Arc. Please let me know if this helps.
CHROME
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the three dots (menu) in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
3. Navigate to More tools → Extensions.
4. Scroll down and click Keyboard shortcuts at the bottom of the page (or enter chrome://extensions/shortcuts directly into the address bar).
5. You’ll see a list of installed extensions and their assigned shortcuts.
6. To edit a shortcut, click on the existing shortcut and press the new key combination you want to use.
7. If you want to remove a shortcut, click the “X” next to it, or leave it blank.
8. Changes are saved automatically.
SAFARI
1. Open Safari.
2. Go to Safari → Settings (or Preferences) from the top menu.
3. Navigate to the Extensions tab.
4. If the extension allows keyboard shortcuts, you might find an option to edit them here.
5. You can also check System Preferences → Keyboard → Shortcuts to see if the extension appears there.
FIREFOX
1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click on the three lines (menu) in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Add-ons and themes.
4. In the left-hand menu, click on Manage Your Extensions.
5. At the top right of the extensions page, click the gear icon and select Manage Extension Shortcuts.
6. A list of extensions and their associated shortcuts will appear.
7. Click on the shortcut field you want to change and press the desired key combination.
8. Changes are saved automatically.
ARC
1. Open Arc.
2. Click on the Arc logo in the top-left corner of the sidebar to access settings.
3. Scroll down to Extensions to manage your installed extensions.
4. For extensions that allow it, you’ll find settings to manage or edit shortcuts within their configuration options. This is handled on a per-extension basis rather than through a single shortcut management page.
5. Additionally, you can check Settings → Shortcuts to see if any Arc-specific shortcuts conflict with your extension shortcuts.
